ILLUSTRATED MAP - THE 7 WONDERS OF CAMPINAS
The municipal government of Campinas/SP - Brazil - needed an illustrated map that presented the 7 wonders of the city, attractions that are part of the citizens' daily lives. We also highlight the places that gave rise to the municipality and highlight bars, restaurants, entertainment and all the necessary information to receive the visitor. An illustrated map does not need to convey information in a cold way, it has to be funny, it has to convey the culture and atmosphere of the city.
To create this art I used graphite, ink pen, colored pencils and digital finishing.
A prefeitura municipal de Campinas/SP - Brasil - precisava de um mapa ilustrado que apresentasse as 7 maravilhas da cidade, atrações que fazem parte do dia a dia dos cidadãos. Evidenciamos também os locais que deram origem ao município e destacamos bares, restaurantes, entretenimentos e todas as informações necessárias para receber o visitante. Um mapa ilustrado não precisa passar as informações de uma forma fria, ele tem que ter graça, tem que transmitir a cultura e a atmosfera da cidade.
Para criar esta arte utilizei grafite, caneta nanquim, lápis de cor e finalização em meio digital.

O mapa foi estruturado inteiramente à mão livre. Antes de tudo é necessário observar e compreender a cidade e suas particularidades.
